Wow! We Have a Good, Good Father!

Father God, we worship you! You have created such beautiful things and continue to do it.

This is a photograph of phlox flowers which is a ground cover. So, we would most likely not get down to look closely at it. Look at the little buds. I was crying when I saw how intricate they are. They are perfectly wrapped waiting to open. The colors in the flowers; from far away, I see more purple, but, when you look closer, there is white with streaks of color.

This brings to mind the people around us - those we come in contact with day after day. It is important to take the time to " look closer" and not just see what's "on the surface". We may see a certain behavior (good or bad) which could be a result of a past experience - this may not be who the person really is. God looks at the heart, not what's on the outside. This is how He wants us to look at others......and ourselves.

Because,

Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realm. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this cardinal world in bondage. Ephesians 6:12 TPT

So,

Don't just pretend to love others. really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Romans 12:9 NLT

and, when we give the gifts of grace and mercy, we ourselves are healed.

Father God, we worship you! You have created such beautiful things! All we have to is to look for it with breathtaking wonder! Thank you for your Word that gives us so much wisdom! I find great joy in reading the Bible and looking and noticing the things you create!

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8 NLT
