Morning Time.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for Your love. Thank you for listening for my voice, to my praises and to my cries! I put these request at your feet. I wait expectantly. I listen. I wait.

I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. - Psalm 62:1 NLT

I praise you for the time we spend together in the morning. You bring joy to me and peace that passes all understanding. Without it, my day is not complete. You are amazing. You are my caretaker. Expectantly, I look to you. I lift up my requests to You, Lord!

Then you will take delight in the Almighty and look to God. - Job 22:26 NLT

Morning time is my time with you, Heavenly Father. You light my path. You are make me whole. You are all I desire, each and every day.

Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, "You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life." - Psalm 142:5 NLT

As I sat on my front porch a few weeks ago, this red cardinal sat silently and still. Waiting patiently. There was a time and there are days when sitting silently and still were and have been difficult. How about for you? But, it is so worth working through any struggle to get to spend time with your Heavenly Father, Don't you agree?

This time I don't want to make a short visit and then go right on. I want to come and stay awhile, if you will let me. - 1 Corinthians 16:7 NLT

Sit. Be still. Wait. Praise. Be still. Wait. Look up. Be still. Wait.

Let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. - Psalm 5:11 NLT

Your Heavenly Father wants to have a close relationship with you. Won't you sit a while?
