What is Unseen is Eternal
As the New Year is approaching, is there something you are finding it hard to move past? Is there something holding you back from your purpose on your life?
I know for myself, fear is something that can hold me back - fear of the unknown. I guess that is why our loving Father put "fear not" in the bible 365 times...one for every day of the year. I need that reminder! How about you?
We are called to step out in faith and believe, to fear not, because God will use everything, for those that love Him, in your life for your good.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
Whatever is going on may not be easy, but know, trust and believe that someday we will live with Him in a place with out fear, pain and suffering.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corintians 4:18
What are you focusing on in your life? Do you find yourself focusing on the circumstance in front of you - the circumstances that you are having a hard time moving past? God want us to focus on Him and Him alone!
In Exodus 14:15 it states,
"Then the Lord said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on."
Have you looked up to God for answers to what you are dealing with? Do you know what God wants you to do? I know for me, when I am not looking up to Jesus my doubts can creep into the situation. God told Moses to get moving, to do what He called him to do. If you know what God has called you to do, are you ready to take it one step at a time? No worries. He will lead you! Just trust in Him.
God wants us to,
"We live by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7
You are loved by your Heavenly Father. So,with the New Year won't you make the choice to live like it and move forward - one moment at a time and one step at a time with faith, not sight!
