A Prescription for Hope

What have you found to be a prescription for hope?

For me, the answer is Jesus! Jesus is the best medicine. The remedy for all that ails you.

Reflect this Easter season on all that Jesus has done for us. Yes, for us - you and me!

I read an "aha moment" article on Christianpost.com of Pastor Rick Warren's Easter message of Hope. He stated that during His crucifixion and death, Jesus suffered agonizing pain. When He was buried, there was much confusion, doubt and misery. But, on the day of His resurrection, we receive His hope, joy and victory.

He also stated that during our lifetime, that we will continually experience the emotion of these three days over and over. This is what made the article come to life for me because we will have trails and tribulations in this life. But, Jesus will bring us through it to His hope, joy and victory. Yes, there is a light and a gift! For me, looking to Jesus and spending time with Him during times of pain, agony, confusion, doubt and misery,(by the way--it's not an easy task), has brought me to the other side - to the hope, joy and victory of Jesus. But, it is so worth it!!

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -Isaiah 40:31
